Hi all, A simple process of renewal of licence has become a problem for me as after making all the necessary payments and being issued with a temporary licence was told that I have to wait for 5 working days to receive the licence by mail. Now it has been over 10 working days and after religiously checking the mail every day and not receiving it I have called the RMS what used to be called RTA and they say they have issued it already and if not arrived they will just issue another one. What I am worried about is how did they miss my licence which they sent earlier as it is effectively a proof of identity and has my name, dob and address. Some one with a malicious intent could if they wish misuse it. Do you think that I should report it to the cops... No, the 'centralised printing' is a secure area with higher clearance standards that your general VicRoads office and better control over the equipment and consumables one would hope.
